FOGGY aka 0=2

One half of Giblets & Cheese, the sedantary and somewhat reclusive Foggy found plenty of time to create mad music with whatever equipment he happened to have in the vicinity. Starting with sound montages made with faulty tape recorders or primitive sampler/sequencers, his experimental edge continued through Quartet software on the ST, various keyboards, drum machines, FX processors, MIDI and Cubase.

Steeped in Ambience, the music is at once cranky yet strangely beautiful. Though entirely instrumental, humour and other emotions (notably awe and solemnity) are apparant. Experimenting with the abilities of music machines, the music is not over-constructed and often sounds playfully chaotic, yet a distinct quirky musical sense pervades.

Though never really intended for public consumption, Kipling felt the music so special as to be rescued from obscurity (and decaying magnetic tapes!) and compiled for all to enjoy. Unfortunately so far he seems to be the only one mad enough to like it!
